Terms of Use

Welcome to Tetatet Chat ("Tetatet", the "App", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Tetatet governing your access to and use of the App, including messaging, voice and video calls, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, logging in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User-Generated Content

The Service lets you create, send, and share content such as messages, images, audio, video, and profile information ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit and for the consequences of sharing it.

By submitting User Content, you grant Tetatet a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and your intended recipients.

4. Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Behavior

Tetatet has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. You agree that you will not create, upload, post, send, or share any content, and will not engage in any conduct, that:

• is unlawful, harassing, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or invasive of another's privacy;
• is obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or that exploits or endangers minors in any way;
• depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism, or hate speech against individuals or groups (including on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic);
• is fraudulent, deceptive, or constitutes spam or unsolicited bulk messaging;
• infringes any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party;
• contains malware or attempts to compromise the security of the Service or other users.

Violation of this section may result in immediate removal of the content and suspension or permanent termination of your account, without notice.

5. Content Moderation, Reporting, and Blocking

We take steps to keep the community safe:

• Reporting. You can flag objectionable content or report an abusive user directly in the App. Reports are reviewed and acted upon, and we may remove content or take action against accounts that violate these Terms.
• Blocking. You can block any user from within the App. Once blocked, that user can no longer contact you, and their content is removed from your view.
• Action on reports. We act on reports of objectionable content and remove offending content. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

We aim to review reported content and take appropriate action, including ejecting users who provide or engage in objectionable content or abusive behavior.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it through unauthorized means, interfering with its normal operation, reverse engineering, or using it to violate any applicable law or the rights of others.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the App.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tetatet will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
